3D Printing

A 3D printed frog! Just what every girl needs, right? To produce this artistic 3D printed frog the Objet designer used a combination of Objet’s new VeroClear transparent material for the frog’s limbs and skin – and Objet VeroBlack for his core. The smooth, shiny surfaces and pleasing effect as one material runs and ‘melts’ into the other is a unique quality found only on the Objet Connex multi-material 3D printer.

Stereolithography & Quickcast

Quickcastâ„¢ is a stereolithography build style trademarked by 3D Systems Corporation. It was created to meet the needs of the Investment Casting industry. Just as stereolithography and rapid technologies have greatly reduced time to market, Quickcast patterns for investment casting has had a profound effect on the metal casting industry. InterPRO uses Quickcast instead of the time consuming process of creating tooling to produce wax patterns, allowing the review of metal designs in days instead of months. This rapid pattern creation also provides foundries with invaluable shrink and gating information prior to hard tooling.
